As an officiant, I’ve stood with couples in backyards, barns, banquet halls, and ballrooms — each space transformed by the love and meaning shared within. There’s nothing quite like the magic of a wedding ceremony!
Some couples choose to weave in rituals such as handfasting, sand ceremonies, or candle lightings. Others bring children or family members into the moment with words of blessing or simple, heartfelt gestures. Some couples craft their own vows, and some choose words rooted in their own traditions. Whatever your vision, I’ll help shape a ceremony that reflects your values, your story, and your unique way of celebrating love.
I am both a writer and a storyteller at heart, and I consider it a privilege to stand alongside you on such a sacred day. Each time I leave a ceremony, it’s with a heart full of gratitude for having been trusted to hold the space for you, your family, and your friends.

Love takes many forms. I’m honoured to officiate for all couples, and warmly welcome LGBTQ2+ weddings, interfaith celebrations, and unique approaches to love and ceremony. All of my ceremonies are spiritual, but not religious in the traditional sense of the word. For me, speaking of love itself is a deeply spiritual act. Your wedding will reflect your story, values, and traditions — with a whole lot of love mixed in!

This is your full, custom-crafted wedding ceremony. I’ll take the time to get to know the two of you — how you met, what you’ve built together, what makes your love unmistakably yours — and I’ll write a ceremony that brings it all to life.

Includes:
- A fully personalized script featuring your Love Story, infused with your personalities and shared memories
- The opportunity to add readings or rituals to reflect your values and vibe
- Your choice of wording for key ceremony elements (ring exchange, affirmations, statement of intent, etc.)
- The option to write your own vows, or choose from several beautiful templates
- One Planning meeting (Zoom) + one Ceremony Review meeting (Zoom)
- Unlimited email revisions until it feels just right
- Officiant services on the Big Day — I arrive 30 minutes early to coordinate with you and other vendors
- Legal filing of your marriage documents within 48 hours
- Travel included within 50 km of Aylmer, ON
- Optional: Add a rehearsal for $100 (travel fees apply beyond 50 km)

This option features a thoughtfully crafted ceremony script — one I’ve carefully refined over time — with the opportunity for you to add just the right amount of personalization to make it feel like yours.

- My signature pre-written ceremony script
- Your choice of wording for key ceremony elements (ring exchange, affirmations, statement of intent, etc.)
- The option to write your own vows, or choose from several beautiful templates
- One Planning meeting (Zoom)
- Up to three email revisions
- Officiant services on the Big Day — I arrive 30 minutes early to coordinate with you and other vendors
- Legal filing of your marriage documents within 48 hours

After our call, take the time you need to decide if working together feels right for you. Once you’re ready to move forward, I’ll send over a simple contract and a few next steps — and then we’re officially in this together!
Plan with care
If you’re choosing a Love Story Ceremony, we’ll meet on Zoom once or twice to plan your ceremony together and review your script. You’ll have the opportunity to select wording for key moments like your ring exchange, and you’ll be invited to fill out my signature questionnaire — a fun and meaningful way to reflect on your journey so far, and your hopes for the days to come.
Say “I do”
On the Big Day, I’ll arrive early to touch base with you both, and coordinate with your other vendors and wedding party (if applicable) to make sure everything flows smoothly. Then it’s time to take a deep breath… and enjoy your ceremony!

Do you officiate weddings outside Southwestern Ontario?
Yes! I’m based in Aylmer, ON, and travel within 50 km is included. I’m happy to travel further afield — additional travel fees may apply. Let’s talk about your plans and see what’s possible.
You’re an ordained minister, but we’re not religious. Are we a fit?
Yes — absolutely. My ceremonies are spiritual, but not religious in the way you may be thinking of it. I create ceremonies that honour love, deepen our connections to one another and to the universe, and highlight shared values of kindness and compassion. For me, speaking of love itself is a deeply spiritual act — and we’ll definitely be doing plenty of that during your ceremony!
I am an ordained Metaphysical Minister with the Canadian Institute of Metaphysical Ministers, which means I am licensed to officiate weddings in Ontario (and other provinces). I am also a Certified Life-Cycle Celebrant® with the Celebrant Foundation & Institute. These qualifications allow me to legally marry couples while focusing on ceremonies that reflect your beliefs, values, and story.
All faiths, interfaith, and non-traditionally-religious couples are warmly welcome. If you’d like to include readings, prayers, or rituals from your own traditions, I’ll gladly make space for that. If you simply want a ceremony that celebrates your love story with warmth, humour, and meaning, I am here for that, too.
Can we write our own vows?
Absolutely. You’re welcome to write your own, choose from my templates, or do a combination of both. I’ll help guide you so it feels comfortable and meaningful.
Do you attend wedding rehearsals?
Yes — a rehearsal can be added to your package for $100 plus travel beyond 50 km. Some couples find this helpful, while others prefer to keep things simple on the day.
